Description

This event is offered by the Washington Department of Commerce Defense Industry Adjustment Program in partnership with the Kitsap Procurement Technical Assistance Center and is supported by the Washington Military Alliance.

In this two day workshop, you will learn how to respond to proposals from the DOD point of view. Learn what the government looks for when evaluating proposals, and how to make sure yours will get get noticed and read!


This course is taught by retired Navy Contracting Officers Mary Jo Juarez and Mona Carlson.

Mary Jo has over 30 years' experience in government contracting, most recently working as a Navy Deputy for Small Business, helping the Navy meet their small business goals and educating small business firms in obtaining certifications, marketing, and opportunities with the federal government.

Mona Carlson has over 30 years' experience in government contracting as well, recently working as a supervisory contracting officer for NAVFAC NW (Naval Facilities Engineering Command, NW). In addition, Mona is a government contracting consultant with Blue Ink Consultants.
